Dark rings around JPEGs with Sigma lenses

Canongirl745

When I shoot JPEG with my 1D-X and Sigma art lenses, I get dark rings around the JPEGs. I shoot both raw and JPEG, and when the CR2 converts to a DNG format, the rings disappear. But no matter what settings I use, the JPEGs are unusable, and I can't find anything in Photoshop or Lightroom to remove the rings. Can someone tell me what's wrong and how to repair it? I get otherwise gorgeous pictures with the Sigmas. I included a test image below:EW2I0212.JPG

Do you have any of the in-camera processing options checked, like peripheral illumination corrrection?

"I get dark rings around the JPEGs."

Are you referring to the 'target' shaped dark rings?

"When I shoot JPEG with my 1D-X and Sigma art lenses,..."

The obvious question, does it happen with all your lenses?  This will tell me if it is a lens or camera problem.  BTW, there is nothing I know of in LR or PS that will remove them except manual labor!

That resembles a double exposure of the third kind.

Thank you SO much this solved my issue with the same problem!!!

Welcome to the forum.

Are you using the camera company lens hood? Is it on correctly; it is sometimes possible to put the lens hood on 90 degrees off? Are you using any filters?

These are things that can cause vignetting.

What camera and lens? Can you post a screenshot?
