Access Denied on usa.canon.com

I just started getting an Access Denied message every time I move to a different page on the US website.  I have to go in, clear my browsing data and refresh.  I can then see the page I navigated to, but the site has logged me out.  When I log in again, I go through the same thing all over again.  I've rebooted, cleared all my history, cookies, cache and other site data going back a month yet nothing works. Any suggestions?  It seems to happen to a lot of people so wondering if Canon has an issue on their end.  This is the only website I have this issue on and it just started doing this a few days ago.  It worked fine before that time.  Any suggestions?

Greetings ,

I spend a great deal of time here on my mobile device, laptop, tablet, etc.  I don't have any access denied issues.  I use Chrome and Edge, and every once in awhile Safari.  Are you using any browser extensions or antivirus that might be causing issues?  Maybe an ad blocker?  Export your favorites and reset your browser to defaults.  Then test.  You can always export /  import your favorites with a few clicks.

Hi, pscheffer82!  Canon USA maintains a number of sites including the Canon Community Forum and our primary web site.  Are you running into this "Access Denied" message here on the forum, on another Canon site, or both?  If so, please specify the sites and we'll be glad to take a closer look.

We look forward to your reply!

Thanks - I'll try that and see if it helps.  I only have this issue on my laptop so it very well may be conflicts with my browser settings.

Hi - I have the issue only on my laptop when accessing usa.canon.com.  I've tried Chrome and Edge browsers and both have the issue.  I cannot really do anything on the site as it signs me out with each click and gives me the access denied error.

Hi - I have the same issue.  Tried the several browsers, restarting, resetting defaults. All to no avail.  And this is the only website that I have any issues with.  I cannot even get to Canon support. Did you get this resolved or just give up?  Canon should really address this issue and not leave it up to the forum.

I got it resolved by removing all my browser extensions.  I also cleared my browser history and restarted my computer to reset everything again after I removed the extension.  I had cleared the history and restarted it before without success.  It was the extensions that made the difference.  I agree - there is something odd with their site. There seems to be several instances of this and it's the only site we all have the problem with.

I also have this very annoying problem. Happens on Chrome - so far Firefox is OK, but that isn't my primary browser. I did delete cookies, turned off ad blocker, reset site permissions, but it still happens when going from one page to the next.

There is obviously some issue with this site. Canon - what is going on and when will you get this fixed?

If you have a VPN on your device try turning it off.  They sometimes cause issues.  I also removed all browser extensions, then again deleted all browser history, cache and cookies followed by restarting my laptop and that addressed the problem for me.
