I'm very honored to have been selected. I appreciate being recognized and am so glad to be a part of this community. You never know which picture will be a "hit". Recently I entered 8 photos in the county fair (4 black and white and 4 color) and I won three places. The pictures that won were not the ones I thought had the best chance. The picture that made it to this gallery is of an ugly new building being built. I was "taken" by the lines and geometry, but I don't think I've fully captured it yet. I wanted to find something artistic about its ugliness. This inclusion tells me I am on the right track with the subject matter. Again, thank you so much...

BUT MORE importantly congratulations to the other photographers who were included. Very nice work indeed.
