Upgrade from Canon 70D?

I'm still new to photography (just over a year), but I am wondering if I should upgrade from a Canon 70D in the semi near future. I'm a young photographer who doesn't have the best source of personal income, so I want an upgrade that is on the cheaper end and also has an EF lens mount like the 70D (or another brand of camera that has the ability for me to use an adapter).  Thank you for any advice!

In its day, the 70D was a middle tier APS-C body also popular for video enthusiasts.  

What lenses do you own now?

Is there something specific your 70D isn't doing for you now.  There is nothing wrong with wanting a higher performing body, but with only a year under your belt, it would be helpful for us to understand your motivation for an upgrade.

It’s probably best to keep on as you are with the 70D. Learn more about photography. YouTube is a good source for learning about the Exposure Triangle and other beginner topics. 

One veteran forum member is fond of saying lenses are more important than camera bodies. 

.He points out that cameras are merely recording devices that capture what the lens presents to ithem.

You ain't lying!! I was gifted a canon rebel T3 and started looking for a lens, was blown away at how high the price goes! I have been wanting a camera for as long as I can remember and finally got one! Here's to spending all my extra $ on lenses 🤣

It's older, so I am thinking of just looking for something that I can use for the far future, I kind of want more megapixels just incase, better technology, etc.
