New R10 - which lens kit to buy?

pralad

Deciding which lens kit to buy and would love some advice.

Should I get the RF-S 55-210mm Lens + RF-S 18-45mm Lens kit or the RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 lens kit?

Price point is the same.

Will be for travel/nature landscape photography at a beginner level.

I have the EOS R10 with the RF-S 18-150mm lens and it's a fantastic combination for many kinds of photography, the flexibility of the 18-150mm lens is brilliant for travel photography as you pretty much always have the right focal length available without changing lens. I would then advise you to look at the RF-S 10-18mm lens for a wider angle and or the RF 100-400mm for a lot more reach.

I think you will find that with the twin zoom 18-45 and 55-210 lens kit you are too often switching lenses, or leaving one behind.

Greetings ,

I want to second Brian's excellent advice.  The RF-S-18-150 will be extremely versatile on your R10.  You will have no regrets with this combination.  🙂
