The image frame "flickers" with when using my Canon R5 as a webcam on my Mac

Background:

I've figured out how to use my R5 as a webcam on my Macbook Pro M1 using Canon webcam utility and making sure apps are run through Rosetta (i.e coded for an intel processor). Works great, except for one strange bug:

Problem:

Every 5 min or so, the image frame cut changes by a couple of degrees up/down. The result is that I keep having to adjust my camera angle up and down to keep my face centered. I have not seen this happen with the camera otherwise, so I assume it's related to the webcam utility. (I mostly use Zoom, but also Google Meet and Teams, and all of them seem to have the same problem).

Question:

Has anyone else had this problem? Can I report this bug to the Canon team somehow? Is there any workaround to use third-party drivers to use my R5 as a webcam?

I would try it with lens stabilization and IBIS off, you may be having some DC drift.

I had already turned off image stabilization on the lens. It appears from my research as if the IBIS should automatically follow. Any other ideas?
