Hey there - like the title says, I have an older T6s, a MacBook and the Pro version of the utility just downloaded today from the Canon website. When I load up the Pro app, it never shows the connected T6s and neither does my video recording app I'm using. It see the facetime camera just fine though. My current connectivity is via the USB mini connector into the Apple branded dongle that comes with the older (2019) lightning-only connector macbooks. I have the camera turned on into the 'video' position and have removed the SD card as having the SD card installed force the shutter closed like it would if I turned the camera off. I have used this USB cable on my Windows 10 machine with success and is in fact working right this second so I feel like it's not the cable. I'm unsure where else to check. On my video recording app I get the EOS Webcam Utility screen with the little red X over the USB connector screen. Please help, I'm fairly tech savvy but having an issue with this.
Thank you!!!
