I've got the Webcam Utility Pro (paid subscription) and a Canon EOS Rebel T7. It's been working flawlessly for more than a couple of years, but the upgrade to 2.2.22 has introduced periodic freezes where my image will freeze (audio still works) and then un-freeze a few seconds later. It certainly makes for awkward zoom meetings.
I'm on a Mac, Sonoma 14.5.
Is there a link to downgrade to the last good version? Or any other tips? I know this camera is older, but like I said, it's been flawless for me for years prior to this upgrade.

I am having the same issue!! Freezes every few minutes for a few seconds. Looks ridiculous. I am counting heavily on webinars and podcasts (with video) for my business. This started a few months ago. I am using Canon E05, MacBook Pro Sonoma OS, EOS Webcam 2.2.22. I really need any solutions, hack I can find. Tx!!

Can buying a new Mac help? This is ruining all my podcasts and video webinars. I need a workaround and happy to pay for a fix or even a new computer… any clue what would help? Please help!

I’m adding the CPU usage in case someone from Canon actually wants to look at suggest something useful. The ewcproxy disappears when we freeze if this helps at all and the eoswebcam service shoots through the roof. Thank you!
