Canon Webcam utility PRO and VMIX software

I have downloaded the webcam PRO utility, upgraded to the paid version and on a 30 day trial. I'm using a Canon R5 on firmware 1.8.1. Connected via USB C the application appears to work correctly both wired and wirelessly and I can see the footage from the camera perfectly in applications like Zoom and Teams however when I add the camera in VMIX, it doesn't show any content, infact it doesn't show even a black screen or an error. It appears to be hung up grabbing the stream from the camera. In the side by side application, you can see the webcam utility is communicating with the camera, VMIX recognizes that it's content that it can render which is why the box appears, but where I expect to see content on the left in my VMIX object this just hangs like this and never renders my live content from the camera.  Curious if anyone has any ideas...

TIA! Kris

VMIX doesn't appear in the list of supported applications. See this on the Canon Webcam Utility Pro web site and scroll down to supported applications:

I see that now. Most of the supported applications are actually platforms. VMIX being one of the leading professional streaming and production tools I hope a future release between one of the two enables them to work together, in the mean time I'm better off cancelling my subscription and purchasing a USB capture card.

Thanks, no I saw that on the VMIX forum from 2 years ago. It predates the PRO version and I was hopeful this version resolved any issues, plus I have the legacy tool working with VMIX. I was liking the pro version due to it's WIFI connectivity.
