Does the line appear on the camera's LCD or just after downloading to a computer?

Are you by chance shooting in LIVE VIEW mode? I noticed that when I shoot in LIVE VIEW, I get a line through it.

If it is on both the computer and the camera's LCD, then it is probably the camera's mirror or lens problem, if it is just in the camera, and on the computer it's all clean and clear, then the Camera's LCD has a line of dead or damaged pixels.
Good luck!

It wasnt something like this, was it?
If it was, sorry man - your camera is dead for good. That's one burned sensor. No way back from that!
