file type on EOS Rebel t100

When i use canon connect to download videos, it says i have an invalid file. can anyone tell me what i can do to make that work?

Try a card reader. They are fairly inexpensive and work very well.

Just to be on the safe side I would get another new high quality SD card. Buy it from a known good retailer. Amazon is not a known good retailer for memory cards or sticks. Amazon itself is good but you never know unless you read everything very carefully where the stuff comes from.
