I'm trying to record videos with my Canon M50. The kit lens does not let in enough light to record details very well in certain rooms of my house; however I love its zoom functionality. I have a Viltrox Speedbooster for opening the aperture and making other lenses compatible. I'm looking to record fast in-and-out zooms you'd see in shows like The Office, but lets in enough light for rooms with only a few light sources. Can anyone offer me any suggestions?

Sounds like you'll want to avoid a variable aperature zoom, so you can remove those from your list of candidate lenses.
Maybe look at the EF 24-70 f/2.8.
Is there any way to add a bit of ambient light to your dark rooms?
