How do I update camera firmware for Rebel T4i?

I can't find any info on the Canon web site for the current firmware version for my camera T4i, nor how to update it if necessary. Thanks for your help. Al

Having trouble auto-focusing using the digital display.

My Rebel T3 seems to have problem auto-focusing indoors when using the digital display .  Seems to work fine using the viewfinder.

6D or 7D?

I've been happy with my 40D but I want to upgrade. Costco has a beautiful 7D kit on sales for around $1600.00. Does it have the 2.0 firmware? Or, should I wait for the 6D with the built in HDR?  I don't care about the video.
