Why does my Canon R5 record still images at 24 meg or less when it is set to record Raw at 45 meg?

That's it!! Yes, it is set to CRaw. I thought that was bigger. You ROCK!!  Thank you so much for the help!!!

C-RAW is Compressed RAW it is designed to fit more files on the card by compressing it. The file sizes are usually half the size of a regular RAW file.
