Whenever I record video or take pictures on my camera, there are blue and purple lines going through it or just a huge line. I don't know what else to do and there isn't any camera shops nearby. The picture is an example of the problem. Please help me! Thank you!

Is the line viewable on your screen when you use Live view? In that case I would send it in for service or buy another camera.

Yes, it could be a fault with the camera itself.
But let's see if it might be something else, first.
Has it just started happening? If so, has anything changed such as a new memory card, new memory card reader, new computer, new software?
Does it happen with every shot and video? Or are some images and videos okay?
Tell us more about the memory card... what brand, size, type and quality are you using?
It also might be how the memory card is being used in the camera... did you format the memory card before using it?
It also can be caused when images are transferred to your computer... how do they look when viewed on the back of the camera when you review them? And how do you transfer to your computer? Do you plug the camera into the computer with the supplied cable... or remove the card from the camera and put it in a card reader that's attached to the computer... or a card reader that's built into the computer... or wirelessly using one of those WiFi cards?
All these are possibilities.
Or it could be a problem in the camera itself. In that case, you'd need to send the camera in for repair.

Absolutely REPLCAE the SD card with a good high quality brand IE Sandisk, Lexar, etc. No cheapos.
Format in the camera, only. Also replace the card reader and/or the USB cable that goes to the computer.

Probably. A sensor or motherboard replacement costs more than the camera I think.
