Hello, in my new R5 mark 2 I see a delay in the viewfinder in video mode. In photo mode it is fine, but in video mode it is jerky. The display does not have it. What can this be?

Greetings PeterV2,
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with the performance of the viewfinder on your EOS R5 Mark II camera. Please check to see if the same issue occurs when shooting through the LCD screen instead of the viewfinder when it comes to shooting in the video mode. We can check the shooting settings to see if this may be causing an issue. For example, if the shutter speed is too slow then we will notice a lag effect. Something like 1/20 or so would appear delayed or jerky compared to having a shutter speed of 1/60 which would provide us with smoother motion.

Hi Natalya,
Thanks for your answer! Today I have the camera completely reset and I made sure that the shutter speed was fast enough. But I see the same delay as before. The display on the back of the camera shows a fine image without delay.

Greetings PeterV2,
Thank you for the update and I'm sorry to hear that the delay issue persists. This issue does not appear to be a known issue with the EOS R5 Mark II camera. I have gone ahead and submitted feedback regarding this issue, and I would suggest to occasionally check the product support page to see if any firmware updates become available for the camera.

I'm having a similar/same issue. While looking through the viewfinder & panning it looks jerky. Fine on the screen & playback. I've tried it using a variety of shutterspeeds & the problem is still there.
