I am trying to connect my Canon Rebel T6 to my Mac Mini 2018 to use as my webcamera. I have gone through all the tutorials Canon has offered but no luck so far. Can anyone help?

Are you using the Canon webcam utility? It works fine with my T6S.

Make sure your USB cable is a data cable, not a mere power cable.
What happens when you connect the camera to the laptop and turn it on?
