T7i HDMI Output Resolution

I just got a T7i and I'm having a problem with 1080p playback.  I can record a video in 1080p and if I play back that file on a computer, it's 1080p.  

The problem I'm having is that no matter what, the HDMI output of the camera always outputs 480p;  It doesn't matter if I'm just in live view mode, or if I try to play back that same pre-recorded 1080p file - The HDMI output is always 480p to my TV, even when playing back that 1080p file from the camera.

Is there a way to change it to 1080p?

Actually, it turned out to be the display I was using.  I switched to a different display / capture card and it outputted 1080p.  It must have been the EDID on the original capture card.
