I have a hand me rebel t4i my dad gave me and I am very dissapointed in the camera quality. I have looked up many videos of other videos that also have a t4i and they look so much better than mine. I also tried many settings and none of them look good. Please help.

Is this your first experience with a DSLR? If so, then I suggest that you start shooting photographs. Because of the interchangeable lens system, and more advanced exposure control being offered in a DSLR, one needs to gain the insight and experience of being a good photographer before you can become a good videographer.
[EDIT]. BTW, after watching your video, nothing jumps out at me as being “wrong” with the camera or lens.

I agree with Waddizzle, though I would also mention that light level seemed to be quite low, if you are wanting to do a lot of video I would recommend purchasing a decent video lighting attachment for the camera, there are some decent but inexpensive LED version to be found through most camera shops as well as on Amazon (Though read reviews on Amazon to be sure the seller and product are decent.)

Yeah, our first response to these questions - without even watching the video - should be "You need more light!"

The advice you're gotten so far is all good, and I'd also caution you not to have too high expectations. Although the T4i can do video, it isn't a video camera, and your results will probably never equal those you'd get with a real video camera.
Also, my recollection is that the T4i wasn't all that highly regarded, even when it was new. It didn't stay on the market very long before it was replaced with the T5i, which I believe was highly regarded.
