5D MkIII and trying to find a solution to taking a series of 9-11 bracketed images. Advice/Help?

HDR only allows for 3 (unless there is a secret I don't know).

You can do up to 7. Page 316 of manual.

Or, you can get Photomatix Pro and Photomatix Essentials.  They are standalone programs running on Windows and Mac OSX and the ultimate in HDR.  You can use almost any number of photos you want!

Photomatix is a great tool, but once you exceed the number of shots the camera can do automatically then the user needs to do all the math and manually adjust exposure difference for each shot. A seven stop range is probably more than adequate.

That is why they put the "M" on the menu.  I have astronomy friends that stack way, way more than seven.
