Which focusing group is best for sports and also which of the three light metering modes would you all pick for a preset?
I mainly shoot softball and indoor basketball.
Thx

Waytoomuch,
There are few situations where a specific point or group is better than another. The one situation that comes to mind is when you are using a lens with an f/2.8 maximum aperture or larger. In this case, the center AF point is about twice as sensitive as the others. When you are using lenses with maximum apertures smaller than f/2.8, each AF point is equally sensitive.
The metering mode that is best for you to use will completely depend on the conditions you are shooting in. If you were going to pick a metering mode to leave the camera in without knowing what those conditions are going to be, I would leave it set to Evaluative.
