Serial number faded away from years of use

I have a Cannon EOS 60D camera and I want to have Cannon perform maintenance on it. In order to do so, I need to enter my serial number, which for the most part has faded away. Is there any other way for me to get this information or bypass this requirement?
Or perhaps is there a software I can install on my computer that will tell me the serial number once I plug my camera into it?
