Hi everybody! I have an issue with Windows 10 reading my t5i SD card. My card reader reads all other cards fine, but not the t5i card. What gives?

Thank you for your responses. It was the card. I did a reformat of the card on a machine that would read it (Windows 8.1), and then it worked again. Although, your suggestion about using a different card is well noted. It has been a little workhorse, but countless reformats make it show it's age. Thanks everyone!

I am running Win 10 and it reads all my DSLR SD cards just fine. So, it isn't Win 10. You need to look elsewhere for the problem. Is this a external card reader? Yes, replace it. USB cable faulty?
Are you trying to connect the T5i directly to Win 10? That could be an issue.

Try a new and different card. It sounds like there is a potential issue with the card, and you do not want to lose photos.
Also, be sure to only use full size SD cards in your camera. People experience to many issues with micro-SD cards and adapters.
