Red focal points no longer showing in viewfinder

Hi everyone!

Love my T3i! I've had it almost 3 years now. In the past 3 months, I no longer see the red focal point indicators through the eye view finder. Did I mistakenly turn this off? If so, how do I turn it back on? It happens with every lens.

Thanks!

Are you in AI Servo mode?

Rarely. I'm in One Shot mode the majority of the time.

Is it possible there is just one showing? Have you tried pressing the focus point selector button?

I don't see any obvious way of turning of all the points on my T4i.

Yes, I've made sure to checl the focus point select and have it on auto. Scratching my head on this one!

So you see the red points light up when you press the AF select button but they don't when you press the shutter button?

I don't see them at all.

Try removing battery, power on camera and let it sit for several hours without battery.

Trying this now. Will let you know how it goes.

To the other questions:

- works fine in all modes (I shoot in M all the time)

- other indicators in the viewfinder are working fine

- AF is on all the lenses

If that doesn't work call the Canon support line. I have found them very helpful.
