I just bought a Rebel T7 so i am pretty new with it. Everytime i have it on a setting that uses flash the flash pops up and then the camera shut downs. Turning it off/on does nothing, I have to take the battery out and put it back in. When i turn it back on it works fine as long as I do not use the flash. The battery is fully charged and tried a different fully charged battery with the same problem, so its not a batter issue.

I called Canon they said to either ship it to them and I will get it back in about a week or to return it. Looks like i am returning it as I would rather have a new one that works than one that has already been repaired before even being used

"...one that has already been repaired before even being used "
Certainly your choice and no fault with it. But the Canon repair guys are usually top notch and your "repair will get special hands on service and going through that the run of the line mass production cameras don't get. Remember that's where the one you have came from! Another replacement will come off that same line.
