Rebel T3i screen won't work

Pulled my camera out to use, powered it on and the screen is black? I can auto focus, but the camera won't take a photo. The only thing I seem to be able to do is focus. I tried removing the battery, swapping batteries, removed the SD card, I don't know what else to try. Today is Monday, and I just used the camera Friday with no issues. Anyone have troubleshooting ideas? TYIA

Have you tried cycling the info button?

Do the displays in the viewfinder have any useful info?

If the menu button works, take off the lens and open the mirror for cleaning. Does the mirror move OK?
