My C3 is set to 120p, but it will not record in 120p using the red record button while in shooting mode. I must switch to movie mode at the on/off/movie switch. My R5 DOES allow this, however. Am I doing something wrong?

Greetings canonballer,
You're not doing anything wrong. In order to shoot at a high frame rate like 119.9 fps or 100.0 fps on the EOS R7 camera, the camera would need to be switched to the movie recording mode instead of the photo shooting mode.

Thank you. That’s inconvenient, but it is what it is, unless Canon can update the software to allow it.
