I saw my R6m2 has that function to detect and adjust the shutter speed to something like 1/59.8 while recording video. I wonder do we have similar function for R5?

Greetings,
The R5 has an anti-flicker feature for stills shooting:
Canon : Product Manual : EOS R5 : Anti-Flicker Shooting (start.canon)
On the R5, in Movie Mode, the selectable shutter speeds depend on the selected frame rate. To my knowledge, its not automatic like the R62. I do not believe safety shift applies here. Someone else who has the R5 is welcome to confirm.
