Hi, I'm going to be photographing dogs at a scent trial (so moving possibly erratically but not at top speed) and they want the shutter noise to be off. On the R5, that is electronic mode - is there anything else I have to do to get it to be completely silent? And I was trying this out and could not get it to continously adjust focus on a subject with the trigger pressed half way down. What am I doing wrong?
thanks!

To get the camera to track the dog you need to use Servo AF not one shot.
Also make sure to set the subject to detect to animals so that the camera can identify the dog and follow it. You’ll need to use either one of the three Zone AF methods or Face + Tracking AF method for subject detection to work.
