R3 multiple exposures now JPEG only

I'm incredibly devistated that the new R3 is limited to JPEG only writing of the final output. How and why this is the case is completely crazy to me.

I think that is always the case. A raw multiple exposure kind of defeats the purpose of raw.

nope, every previous camera has always been RAW file output of the multiple exposures.

I checked because I was doubtful. The 7D MII does.

I do all post processing on a computer, never in the camera.  If you mean the equivalent multiple exposures of the same frame of film, that is something that I never do, not even in post.

yeah, but doing it in post is annoying. I prefer one siege merged RAW file to work with & edit. just a cleaner workflow.
