Contacted Canon, and they told me that there was no way to determine manufacture date. It was worth a try. Thanks!

Why do you care about the date of manufacture?

I'm noticing a trend with many of your recent replies.  It doesn't matter why the information in this case is needed.  It's a valid question and earlier replies have provided help on how that information could be gathered.

I'm noticing a trend of you condemning what I say.

Is there something wrong with expressing curiousity about why someone wants/needs to do something?

Do I have to get preapproval from you for what i say? Are you pulling rank?

Hi, normadel and Ricky!  In case you didn't see my reply to your conversation on another thread, we want to keep things civil and on-topic.  If you two have something you wish to discuss between yourselves, we recommend continuing it via private messages.

Thanks!
