Physical Trauma somehow dented the surrounding of the record button. Now it's stuck and I can't seem to get it out. I don't want to further damage the camera so I need to follow the safest route to fixing this as possible. Thank you for your time.

The safest route is to send it in to Canon to get repaired.
I've never been a safest route kinda guy. If I were in your shoes I'd do a search for something like "take apart t3i" and find a guide something like this:

And I'd go poke my nose around. But that's me. You asked for the safest route, and that is sending it in for an official repair.
