Manual shooting with R5: Unable to change the F stop using the dials

Trying to shoot in manual mode today with my R5 and was only able to change the ISO and Shutter speed today using the cameras dials.  I had no ability to change the F stop using the cameras dials.  I was able to change the F stop using the touch screen, do I have some function switch turned off or not set correctly?

Any help would be appreciated.

gilmorea, I apologize for asking but did you look at the button/dial customization to make sure they are set up?

  • Menu
  • Camera/Orange menu
  • Screen 3
  • Customize dials

This doesn't work?

Do you have the lock on top of the camera engaged?

You might want to look at Fv mode.

No sir, looked there first to see what I was doing wrong.  I checked my lock button and it is off.  I have full control over everything except the aperture via the cameras dials.

No need to apologize, that solved the problem.  I had the dial set for exposure compensation.  I truly appreciate your help in answering my question.  Thank you.

I thought it would be something simple, it usually is - I just couldn’t find it!  Enjoy your day.
