I have the same problem as some people here with my R6 Mark II: random loss of auto ISO when shooting in P mode. Impossible to restore because not available in ISO settings! I have to turn the camera off and on, but it doesn't always work on the first try...
When is Canon going to fix this bug?
firmware 1.2.0

Please explain what “random loss of Auto ISO” means. What does using Auto ISO have to do with your camera seeming lock up? I have been using the R6 Mark II for several months and have never experienced such an issue with using ISO Auto.
The most common cause for camera lockup are memory cards. I suspect some users are using inferior or counterfeit memory cards. I only use full size, UHS-II SDXC cards by SanDisk. I always format them in the camera.
Another issue that can cause the camera to seem to hang is to have wireless communication enabled when you are not using it. The camera can seem to hang when it nears another Bluetooth device and tries to connect to it.
The camera has a couple settings that limit the range of ISO values the camera can use. The camera also has a “Safety Shift” feature that can override your current ISO setting. These settings can be found in the camera menus. Safety Shift is enabled by factory default. I keep it disabled.

The camera doesn't freeze. It loses the auto ISO setting and goes to ISO 100, without me changing anything as I take photos. What's more, the auto ISO setting no longer even appears in the settings.

I use a SanDisk UHS-II SDXC card, formatted in the camera.

The camera is in airplane mode.

Could this cause the auto iso mode to be removed, as this auto ISO setting is not fixed?
This bug has already been described for the R6 and the R6 Mark II, for example here on this very forum.
Thank you for your previous replies and I'm sorry I don't write English very well!

Switch the camera top dial to P. Try resetting the camera back to its factory defaults. There is a menu option that allows you to reset the camera. Check the “Wrench” menus first.
