I want to start recording videos on my canon rebel t5. I need the whole screen to be in focus.

Hi I need help with my conon rebel t5. I put my video on manual exposure and i tried adjusting the f stop and it wouldnt let me then i put it back in auto and it worked but in auto I cant adjust the ISO or the shutter speed. Could someone help me or tell me what im doing wrong? thanks.
