I have a T3i. I took it out on a very hot day, snapped 4 pics and it just stopped.

Lol! I believe that I learned that the hard way, or at least ordering online. One of my first two batteries that I bought at the same time that I bought the camera 3 1/2 years ago was not Canon and it is still going strong. But, I think from now on I will stick with Canon. Thanks for the input.

How old is your battery? It kind of sounds like an old battery dying. Either old or defective or both.

Why do so many people say "FER-tographer"? Do they take "fertographs"?

They were new ones that I ordered for this trip. I bought them as a combo with a car charger. Pretty sure that they are faulty.
