To prevent the shutter speed from getting too long, many cameras (Nikon, Canon, LEICA M9, etc.) allow setting of the slowest sync speed in a menu.
But I am only able to find either 1/60-1/250 or 30"-1/250 on my R6. No option to set the slow sync limit to say 1/8. Flash is 580EXII.
Please help. Thank you.

What mode on the top mode dial are you using. In Av (Aperture Priority) Mode the camera sets a slow sync automatically so there is no need for that setting. If you want to manually set a slow shutter speed use Tv (Shutter Priority) Mode or M Manual Mode. Note Fill Flash IS NOT used in Manual Mode. Instead Flash is treated as Main Light and NOT Fill Flash. This CANNOT be changed in the settings.
