How to set Canon EOS Rebel T6s for black&white shooting?

My daughter upgraded her Canon gears up to professional grade and left Rebel T6s at home.  I use it randomly for street shootings.  The idea of shooting black and white in the streets pops up in my mind unexpectedly.  Tried to set the camera but could not find how to set it in the menu.

How to set Canon EOS Rebel T6s for back and white shooting, please?

It really depends on her work flow. By using the B& W Picture Style, you can capture black and white JPG files in camera. You can also capture RAW images and create black and white JOG files using a computer.  There are other options between these two methods.

I recommend downloading the manual. Loads of information there including various settings. I have a T7 and, after six years, still learning.

It is hidden in the ambience setting. Peruse the manual at page 100 for more info, such as "filters"

You set raw in the image setting screen, like where you set the jpeg size and quality. In Quick Control, hit the little arc.
