How to override write protect feature on a canon eos 1200d camera?

The write protect detector of my canon 1200d camera snapped in half and now it always says that the write protect switch of my memory card is on even though its off. Is there some way we could override the system or change something in its code to ignore the write protect feature?

Greetings,

Regardless of where you are located, the cost to repair the 1200D / T5 exceeds the cost to replace it.  The camera is approx 9 yrs old.  It may or may not be serviceable.  Used in good condition $124 (US).  There is no workaround for this.

Its time for a new camera, either a replacement or a new body all together.
