How to download Pictures from EOS T6 to computer

Please advise me how to download pictures from EOS T6 thru USB cable to the computer?

For Windows when you connect the camera and turn it on the camera should appear as a device. Navigate to the DCIM folder and download the images.

For macOS use Image Capture app.

But, most of us would recommend using a card reader.
