How to connect two EOS M200 to fire at the same time

I have two EOS M200 cameras I want to fire at the same time. The idea is to press the shutter button on one and have both shutters fire at the same time. I have tried both the HDMI and USB cable to connect both cameras as well as using the remote. But only one camera shutter fires. The idea is to take 3D stereo photos using the separation between the cameras to achieve the 3D files. The left image in one camera and the right image in the 2nd camera.

I can tell you that some Sony cameras will do this with a USB connection between two cameras but a resister needs to be solder in the connection cable.

Any ideas.

One idea might be to use a wired remote on one camera and have the other wirelessly connected to a phone or tablet. Then press both buttons at the same time. Or even have the second camera tethered with a second wired remote and press both remote buttons at the same time.

I'm not sure how you'd stitch the two photos together. There's probably software out there somewhere that can do that.

Thank you for your suggestion. Pressing both shutter buttons at "the same time" does work if the subject is not moving very fast like wind blowing trees or people walking. My use is to be out walking around so tethering to a computer does not work. I will try a mobile phone. There is free specialized software to link the two photos together. It is widely used by the stereophotography users. It is called stereo photo maker or SPM.

The EOS M200 has no remote release socket, only the Bluetooth option. This then means that one possibility is to use a software tool that allows two M200 cameras connect to a single PC using USB cables and the PC will trigger the shutter. There are such software solutions available form independent software developers. But they do cost quite a lot when you want multi-camera control. 

Take a look at Ww Fly Kites who offer the Breeze Multi-Camera app as one example.

On a lower budget you could use two low powered Windows computers each running EOS Utility and connected to a single camera. Then you need to press the space bar on each computer simultaneously to take a photo on both cameras.

The Breeze multi-camera app looks like it will work if I use a computer to control the cameras. This is good for studio work but not out in the field walking around which is my planned use condition. It is also a fairly expensive license to purchase. However, in their web page details the discuss using multiple wired remotes, one for each camera and wiring the remotes together in one master switch. I think for me that is the best way to go.

I have the Bluetooth remote for the EOS M200. Of course this works on only one camera. I wonder if it is possible to have the Bluetooth fire both cameras? Is this even possible with Bluetooth?
