Hi I need to have the photos i take of my product photography to show on my computer as i take the shots. I don't know how to connect the computer and DSLR camera to enable this as the distance between my photography setup is about ten metres or more from my desktop computer. I know there's an app to connect but i saw you still need a cable too. I cannot find a cable long enough, please help! Is there a cable out there or can the photos instantly appear on my computer via wifi? I am sure a cable is required from what i have been reading. I am sure an expert out there can help me! Thank you

USB 2.0 cables are limited to 5 meters (15 feet) because signal loss can occur. In practice, though, I have use two 5 meter cables (the A-to-mini B with an extension cable) with good results with EOS Utility (the app you are thinking of).
