How do I trigger a remote strobe with R3?

Hello, I am trying to fire remote strobes with my R3, but it isn't working. I have Godox studio strobes and Phottix portable units and neither will fire. I am assuming there is some setting I need to change, but I can't seem to find it.

What do you have hooked up to the R3?

The wireless triggers for both the Godox strobes and Phottix.

I recently did an internship where at one point I was able to connect my mirrorless camera to strobe lights. I believe there's a hidden setting for the function of the camera that needs to be switched mechanical to operate with strobe lights( if I recall correctly).

Try changing the shutter mode from electronic to either 1st curtain electronic or mechanical 

Also make sure that you have not disabled flash firing from the External Speedlite control menu. This stops all flash firing
