I've had a look at several forums suggesting that I:
a) Use the original Canon interface cable;
b) Make sure only the camera is plugged in;
c) Connect the camera and turn it on first;
b) Change the camera's communication setting from 'normal' to 'ptp';
c) Check if the camera is detected in iPhoto;
d) Check if the camera is detected in the USB Device Tree.
I have done all the above (less changing the communication setting as I can't seem to find that in my camera) and my camera is still not detected at all!
Please help me if you know how to fix this! I would really appreciate it!
