Firing shutter on Canon EOS R10 without lens

Debly

Is it possible to enable the R10 to release the shutter without a lens? Apparently this is necessary to use a manual focus lensbaby lens and I can’t figure out how to do it. I only see a menu option for releasing the shutter without a card.

Page 818 of the R10 User Manual says it is under Custom Functions 4.

Thanks Mike! Sometimes it takes a village to figure out all the menu options!

Take the time sometime when you don't have to shoot, to just browse all the menus. No, you don't learn every function by heart, but you get familiar with the settings your camera has. Look at setting options to see and think about what they mean.

I've been doing this with my five DSLRs, to see how they differ in what you can do. An example is the assignment of shutter and AF buttons to use back-button-focus. An EOS 6D and 7D are very different from a 60D, 50D, and T1i. It's easy to make wrong choices when you're not nice and relaxed.
