I´m looking for an eyepiece extender like the "Canon Eyepiece Extender EP-EX15", but for the 5D mark III.
Thanks for any help.

Cunha

For the Canon 5D Mk II you need the EP-EX15 II.
See here:

Download and go to page 9 . . .

I wonder what's the difference between EP-EX15 and EP-EX15 II
Cheers, Alex

The EP-EX15 II is slightly smaller so that it fits better on the smaller cameras.
B&H Photo sells both: EP-EX15 and EP-EX15 II (neither one will fit the 5D Mk III)

It has been a while but for those who own a 7D/Mark II, 5D Mark III/Mark IV, 1D X/Mark II and other 1D series, we're looking at 3D printing the eyecup extender since JJC and Goja no longer makes them. Here is the post

I couldn't find anywhere an eyepiece extender for my 5DIII/IV.
I am tired of cleaning the rear LCD so I made one for myself. I will use it for the time being until I find a good one.
I found somewhere a piece of foam rubber. I cut it to shape. Made a hole and glue everything together with double sided tape and crazy glue.
For this project, I have to tear apart an old Canon original eye cup and made it as the base for clicking onto the camera. I used another Canon eye cup fixing it to the other end. Do not use cheap eye cup for viewing. The rubber material is not reliable and may cause harm to your eye(s).
There is no correctional lens and thus no magnification. Tunnel effect is minimum. You may find a thinner foam rubber which will improve the tunnel effect further.
I painted the foam rubber black to avoid reflection.
Then the rest is cosmetic.
