Have been enjoying my R5 mk II for the last months.
Yesterday I had an interior shoot for the first time and after 45min of going though the menus I couldn't find the HDR menu and noticed that Canon has just ripped this function. (although I have to admit that I never used the generated Image)
I've used this function very much in the past. The auto exposure and automatically taking 3 shots was just something I thought was standard on every camera since 15y.
Why was this function removed? Auto exposure bracketing doesn't take the 3 shots automatically. Now I have to manually take the 3 shots which can include some camera shake. You'll need shutter cable release or Canon App.
I hope that Canon re-introduces the HDR function in future firmware release.

If you set the drive mode to one of the continuous modes and hold the shutter down the camera will take the bracket sequence then stop.
I recall this was raised in another post before, but I still have no idea why the function was removed.
