Electronic mode will not produce a sound R5

I own the R5 and had been using the LP-E6NH battery with no problems. This battery is no longer in production, so I bought the LP-E6P. My shutter speed is usually 1600 or higher and the E6P battery couldn't keep up. Canon customer support had me change my Shutter Mode to Electronic. Now the battery works (I think) but I can't hear the shutter anymore to confirm. It will also make me crazy not counting the shutter clicks while shooting. Anybody else dealing with this? What is your work-around?

Yes. Sorry for the delay.

You have not read through the thread because we've covered this. I'm not saying I have supersonic hearing and can tell the difference between 1/1600 and 1/2000. I'm saying the there is a noticeable difference in the shutterspeed between using the kit battery and the new battery. The shutterspeed is noticeably slower using the new battery despite the current firmware (fix) being run on my camera.

I will try using H+ to test out whether that works, but my guess is that it won't because H+ needs more power to shoot.
