I bought an EOS M50 Mark II back in October. I am able to connect it via Wi-FI to EOS Utility, but I want to connect over USB to do live streaming with the camera. Is this even possible?
My Mac recognizes the camera when I plug it in (it shows Canon Digital Camera connected), but EOS Utility doesn't show it. Should it? I've tried various high-quality USB cables. I'm also on an M1 MacBook Pro.
I ask because others seem to be able to do this (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMpmXgH9T3o).

Hello JetForMe,
In order to use the USB connection, you would have to disable the WIFI settings on the camera. EOS Utility will recognize the camera via USB as well as WIFI but it's one or the other. If using USB, disable the WIFI and you should be able to connect to EOS Utility via USB. To use the camera for live streaming, you would need to use the EOS Webcam Utility. That is a different program that you would need to install. You can download that HERE.
