If you mean the Canon brand EF 70-200mm lens the answer is yes.

Any Canon EF or EF-S lens will work with your T6.

A lot of lens call themselves "professional" which one are you thinking of?  If it is a Canon lens and has "EF" or "EF-S" in it's name it will work.  On the other hand, if you are thinking 3rd party, I need to know the brand and model.

IMHO, a Canon ef 70-200mm f2.8/f4 lens on a T6 would be a little unusual but certainly workable.
